An important tip
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, as almost everything in this recipe is cooked in the same water. But don’t overcook the broccoli. You want it slightly undercooked and still a little crunchy. Seven minutes is more than enough.

Farfalle pasta
1 piece salmon fillet
Broccoli florets
Extra-virgin olive oil
Fresh lemon
Fresh cilantro

Directions
- Boil the water: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Cook the broccoli: Add the broccoli florets to the boiling water and cook for 7 minutes. Remove with a spoon and set aside.
- Cook the salmon: Place the salmon fillet in the same boiling water and cook for 7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Cook the pasta: Add the farfalle to the boiling water and cook for about 12 minutes, or until al dente. Drain.
- Finish the salmon: Heat a little olive oil in a pan. Add minced garlic, lemon juice, and the cooked salmon. Gently cook until the salmon is fully done and flakes easily. Add fresh cilantro.
- Bring everything together: Cut the salmon into bite-sized pieces. Add the farfalle and broccoli to the pan. Drizzle with olive oil and fresh lemon juice, then season with salt and black pepper.
- Add Parmesan: Toss everything together and finish with freshly grated Parmesan. Serve warm.
