Gourmet Burger at Home: Better Than a Restaurant Burger

Why go to a restaurant when you can make an incredible burger at home?

This recipe is all about quality ingredients. When you start with really good ground beef and an artisan bun, you don’t need to complicate things. The result is juicy, flavorful, and satisfying—and can be even better than a restaurant burger.

The burger is topped with sautéed mushrooms and onions, fresh tomato, arugula or lettuce, and French mustard. Served with crispy air-fryer fries made with a light spray of olive oil and salt.

And for the perfect finishing touch? A cold craft beer

  • 2 potatoes

  • Olive oil

Directions

  • Prepare the air fryer fries
Cut the potatoes into fries. Lightly spray them with olive oil spray and season with salt. Cook in the air fryer for approximately 20 minutes, shaking the basket once halfway through cooking, until golden and crispy.

  • Prepare the burger
Shape high-quality grass-fed ground beef into burger patties. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Cook the burgers in a hot pan until cooked to your preferred level of doneness.
  • Assemble the burger
Place the cooked burger patty on a fresh artisan bun. Add French mustard, tomato slices, fresh arugula, and the sautéed mushrooms and onions. Finish with the top half of the bun.
  • Serve
Serve immediately with the crispy air fryer fries.

Notes
